X Burlesque

Photos by Nikki Artale

Las Vegas’ hottest topless revue X Burlesque has celebrated 10 years on the Las Vegas Strip. The show has been revamped with the addition of new sexy dances. The girls are absolutely gorgeous and fabulous dancers and they hold the audience attention through out the show. A favorite was “Champagne Wishes” a striptease performed inside a champagne glass. It is a 75 minute show with great props, feather boas and playful teasing, seduction and interacting with the audience.

X Burlesque was created by Matt and Angela Stabile and features some of the steamiest dances by nine high energy beautiful girls. A poster of Kimberly caught everyone’s eye at the media event before the show.

Tempest Storm the Queen of Burlesque came to the event and she received a lot of attention. Tempest Storm was greeted with a lot of love and respect, which she well deserves, being the Queen of Burlesque. Tempest looks fabulous and she is so gracious and kind.

Also in attendance was the fabulous Yvette of the Cosmopolitan Connection who is always putting great events on in town, and yes, everyone knows her as the girl with the British accent. She brought along a handsome young man Eric Auger from the French Consulate. Viva France.

Other notable entertainers were Antonio Restivo the Fire Breathing, Fire Eating Hunk of a man, who was one of the featured acts on Americas Got Talent. I loved all his performances on that show. He is a master Illusionist and magician and a star entertainer.

Robert Nash, our very own Robert DeNiro, was on hand to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the X Burlesque Show.

The Young Guns of Comedy

The Young Guns of Comedy

Anthony Padilla

The Kings Comedy Club in the Kings Room at the Rio Hotel is the place to be at 7:00 pm, where you will find the funniest comedians in Las Vegas. From Thursday - Sunday at 7:00 and 8:30 pm you will be entertained by the best of the best and you will experience top headliners from across the country. Anthony Padilla headlines The Young Guns of Comedy with such ease and humor, with his handsome boyish looks. After watching him perform for a while you kind of start searching your memory files for one of your friends or relatives that you want to fix him up with. Anthony is someone who you would love to have as part of your family. He is a professional actor and comedian and his mentor is Louie Anderson, who he worked with at the Palace Station for 10 months before coming to the Kings Room. Anthony features two other comedians in his show. He gets his inspiration and humor from everyday life which is the best humor. Anthony says the Las Vegas audiences can be challenging in comparison to other areas but Media night loved him. Anthony will be featured with “Michael Wheels Parise” at the 8:30 Show.

Hosting the comedy show was Jeremy Wieand, actor and stand up comedian who along with the other comics has helped to make the Kings Comedy Club one of the hottest spots in town. Jeremy is sweet and charming and your heart will melt with his beautiful smile and his mischievous twinkling eyes. You know you will instantly want him to be your friend as he gives the best hugs ever. Jeremy has appeared in many T.V. series, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, clueless and Big Brother Jake where he plays the role of Andy King. He is the highlight of the show with his funny stories.

What can I say about “Michael Wheels Parise” that everyone doesn’t already know? He is hilarious from the minute he steps on stage until he exits. It was non stop laughing and I had to hold my sides from the continuous laughter. We can identify with his stories of life as we know it in a crazy R rated way. He is authentic and hysterically funny. Wheels is filming two reality shows and it will be a must see.

Michael "Wheels" Parise

He has over 25 years in the entertainment field, touring all over the country and was the opening act for Andrew Dice Clay for years. We are so happy that he is now in Las Vegas, headlining in the Kings Room where he is making an impact.

Deborah Ashton-Cooke, Mrs. Nevada United States 2011 took her final walk before handing over the crown to Kari Deike. Deborah shared that her year reign went beyond her expectations and grateful to serve the states charities.

Jen Coop is the State Director of the Mrs. Nevada United States and her goal was to have these women share their commitment and passion for their charities and causes and to showcase their beauty. Jen surely accomplished that goal and the friendships she made will last a lifetime. Working closely with Jen was the host of the event, Joey Gallon, who was quiet charming and a perfect host.

Second runner up was Melissa Arias, who also won the Peoples Choice and the marketing award, first runner up was Tanice Smith and she also won the Congeniality Award

There were a lot of crowns and sashes from other Pageant holders and one of my favorites was Amanda Kouretas, the former Mrs. Nevada-America 2011 and the present Mrs. Nevada-America 2012. Amanda represents the beauty, charm and elegance of a beauty queen.

Kari Deike’s daughter Kami has won the title of Miss Nevada Junior Teen United States and she will go to Washington D.C. in July for Nationals. Her charity work is with the Cancer Society. It is thrilling to see mother and daughter involved and working together and each sharing their very special titles, crowns and sashes.
