Silver Sevens Hotel
Sign Lights Up
Photos by Nikki Artale
On the
corner of Paradise Road and Flamingo Road, Affinity Gaming lit up their new Silver Sevens Marquee sign. The new
name incorporates Nevada as the Silver State and the Lucky 7 gambling emblem.
The hotel was once owned by Terrible’s Hotel & Casino.
The Affinity
Gaming has spent over 7 million dollars to renovate the 60,000 sq. ft. casino,
which is only one mile away from the Las Vegas Strip. It is a two level casino,
has a Bingo Parlor and a 24 hour café and is a local favorite.
It took over
18 months to renovate and just in time for the 4th of July. On July
1st the media was invited to a party to celebrate the name change
and the lighting of the new sign. The rooms featured new furniture and
bathrooms, a renovated Sports Book, the Corona Cantina Bar and a new Welcome
Center got a new look. A party followed
with lots of champagne, delicious food featuring huge Shrimps and Crab Claws,
along with fruits, cheeses, fabulous pastries and a celebration cake.
At 8:00 pm
we all went on the roof to continue the party and see the sign light up to
officially welcome the Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino on Paradise Road. David
Nolan, general manager of the Silver Seven Hotel thanked everyone connected
with the event and he took pride in watching the sign light up.
Stop by and
visit the new and improved Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino.
