Chef Tina Martini

Chef Tina Martini

On January 21, 2010 the M Resort in Las Vegas unveiled a new cooking show, Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini, inside the Studio B Buffet. It is a one of a kind show with Naturopathic Chef Tina demonstrating many techniques and tips on how to eat well and live healthy. Tina looks right at home in her custom built studio kitchen that is similar to other television cooking shows.

I arrived early to the show and had the opportunity to see Chef Tina getting the kitchen ready for the show. It is an hour long show and she goes over each step of the recipe and explains the nutrients and benefits of all the ingredients she is using. The live studio audience gets to sample the food and beverages during the show. The recipe for the day was a Portobello Napoleon which was so delicious.

We were given a Phyto Nutrition Chart listing many food sources and the benefits in eating them. One very interesting fact was by eating onions, garlic, shallots, leeks and chives; it inhibits the growth of cancer cells, protects against stomach and colorectal cancer and lowers cholesterol. This is such great information that is given along with the live food show and not to mention that Chef Tina is such a joy to watch. She is so knowledgeable and has a great personality, great energy and a forever smile.

After the show we were seated in a reserved area of the buffet and the food was fabulous.

We ended our meal with great desserts, cappuccinos and lattes.

One very satisfied guest, Art Chesmora of Jett Setters Magazine, was pleased that Chef Tina cooked vegetarian food.

Show times are 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm, Sundays-Thursdays. Ticket prices are $39.95, $49.95 and $59.95 and include a lunch or dinner buffet in a reserved seating area following the show.

My wife, a couple of friends, and myself attended Tina's 4 PM show on Sunday, May 23rd. Her recipes that day included king salmon pinwheels and crab cakes, and both dishes were delicious beyond compare. But just as great as the food was the way she related to the audience, with complete skill and professionalism. We intend to return to other shows in the future.
